Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. Her home was in Manhattan New York United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an Internet-based networking company. Born into an Catholic family, she was brought up in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She was enrolled by her parents at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and exclusive school. The girl was a lover of music as a child she learned to play the piano, and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first tune. She took part in the open mic evening. Her favorite artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. After graduating from high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she was a music student. However, after high school she chose to pursue a musical career and quit the studies.
